Location
The
Mir Amin Palace hotel closes on September 30 and
reopens on April 27.
This
beautiful palace-like hotel is situated in the
Chouf mountains, about 40 minutes away from
Beirut’s airport, and a few minutes away from
one of Lebanon’s greatest towns, Deir El Qamar.
The 19th-century property has been transformed
into a five-star luxury hotel with all its
historical aspects intact, such as graceful
courtyards, flowing fountains and stone
construction.
Rooms & Suites
With
22 spacious rooms or suites, each with their own
décor and rich fabrics, the hotel is truly a
trip in time. Modern conveniences such as
mini-bar, bathrobes, satellite TV and a
hairdryer are also available. The beds are
considered very comfortable. Room types are as
follows:
Family Duplex Suite – Features one large bedroom
with a king size bed, and two single beds on a
loft-like mezzanine that is ideal for children,
with one sitting area.
Junior Suite – Features one large bedroom with a
king size bed, connected to a large sitting
area.
Al-Salamlek
Imperial Suite – One bedroom suite with a
king-size bed and one bedroom suite with two
single beds, with large sitting and dining areas
that overlook the pool and mountains.
Al-Haramlek
Royal Suite – One bedroom suite with a king size
bed and one bedroom suite with 2 single beds
connected to one large sitting area. Also has a
private patio overlooking the mountain.
Restaurants
As-Saray
Restaurant – True Lebanese restaurant with
regional flavors serving a local breakfast
buffet, as well as a large meza (Lebanese
appetizers) and grilled meats for lunch and
dinner.
Tuscany Restaurant – An Italian restaurant with
a stunning view of the mountainside, offering a
variety of Italian foods from salads and
starters to meat, pasta and pizza.
Diwan
Husn Jihan – A café for desserts, ice cream and
light snacks.
La
Terrace – Ideal for cocktails and drinks against
a backdrop of live entertainment
Garden El-Mir – An outdoor Lebanese restaurant
with a direct view of the historical Beiteddine
Palace.

Stanhope Piano Bar – Drinks and snacks with
