Day 1 - Arrival - Beirut
 
Arrivals at Beirut Rafic Hariri International  Airport.
Our airport representative will be on hand to meet and welcome you. Transfer to hotel in Beirut.
Gathering at the lobby around 9.00PM for dinner at Bardo followed by our first Lebanese Saturday night fever’s shot @ GHOST, former ACID nightclub, biggest gay nightclub of the Middle East.
 
Day 2 - Touring the City that Never Dies
 
Morning free
Afternoon visit of Lebanon’s capital and most vibrant city – Beirut. With its million-plus inhabitants, it won’t take long until you feel the city’s pulse and inviting energy. Known as both the Paris of the East, and the city that would not die, the Lebanese capital is an exciting Middle Eastern Metropolis. This excursion will last approximately 4 hours and will include Roman Ruins, Mosques and Churches as well as the recently rebuilt Down Town which was at the heart of the fighting during the Civil War.
Early evening – Dinner (fee not included).
Optional night clubbing at Milk night club, open on Sundays.
Overnight: Beirut
 
Day 3 - When in Baalbeck, Do as the Romans Do
 
Early Morning. Breakfast at hotel.
Depart to visit the amazing Roman ruins of Baalbek.
Located in the Bekaa valley, Baalbeck makes up one of the largest and best-preserved corpus of Roman architecture ever found. In the Jupiter Temple, six of the fifty-four giant columns that originally surrounded the sanctuary still survive. On our way we will pass by the Ksara cellars.
Built during the Roman period and covered by sand for centuries, these Cellars were found by Jesuits by mistake in 1898 (they were hunting down a fox that was eating their chickens). Ksara is now home of to a world famous winery.
Lunch is served at the winery.
Sightseeing along road back to Beirut which is through the Bekaa Valley and then over the Mountains back to Beirut for the overnight.
 
Day 4 - The Phoenix Rises Again…in Byblos

On the way, we will stop by the beautiful underground caverns of Jeita - Come explore this amazing subterranean lake that is now one of the finalist contenders for the new 7Natural Wonders of the World!  Most info: www.jeitagrotto.com
After Jeita, we will proceed to Byblos - According to Phoenician tradition the city was founded by the god El, making Byblos one of the oldest continuously inhabited cities in the world. It was in Byblos where the first linear alphabet, ancestor of all modern alphabets was invented. The sarcophagus of Byblos’ king Ahiram, now in the national museum, bears the oldest knows Phoenician inscription. Byblos was also the centre of the Adonis cult, the god of vegetation who dies in the winter and is renewed each spring.
After the sunset along the coast, we will head back to Beirut.
 
Day 5 - The Shouf area: Turkish Delight Atop Mount Lebanon
Breakfast at the hotel, followed by the hotel check out.
This morning we drive up the Lebanese mountains to visit the picturesque village of Deir El Qamar, and it’s neighboring Beiteddine Palace. The palace was built in the 19th century by Emir Bechir el Chehabi II (1788 -1840) in the Shouf region. Considered as one of the Arab world’s architectural jewels, Beiteddine was home to the Ruler of Mount Lebanon during the Ottoman Empire, and currently serves as the Presidential Summer Place.

G.C.C. and citizens of Jordan: The Gulf Cooperation Council Countries and the citizens of Jordan country who are holding Jordanian passports who are coming for the purpose of tourism, are granted a free entry visa for 3 months at the airport.
Foreign countries: A free one month valid visa, renewable till 3 months, is granted to the citizens of these countries who are coming for tourism: Andorra, Antigua and Barbuda - Argentina, Armenia , Australia,  Austria, Azerbaijan, The Bahamas,  Barbados, Belarus, Belgium, Belize,  Bhutan, Brazil, Bulgaria, Canada,  Chile, China Rep,  Czech Republic,  Costa Rica,  Croatia, Cyprus,  Denmark, Estonia ,  Finland, France,  Great Britain,  Georgia,  Germany,  Greece, Hong Kong,  Hungary,  Iceland, Ireland,  Italy,  Japan,  Kazakhstan, Kyrgyzstan, Latvia,  Lithuania, Liechtenstein, Luxembourg, Macedonia, Macau (S A R) , Malaysia,  Malta, Mexico, Moldova, Monaco,  Netherlands, New Zealand, Norway,  Palau, Panama, Peru, Poland,  Portugal, Russia, Romania, Saint Kitts and Nevis, Samoa, San Marino,  Singapore, Slovakia, Slovenia,  South Korea, Spain, Sweden,  Switzerland, Tajikistan, Turkey,  Trinidad, Tobacco, Turkmenistan, USA, Ukraine, Uzbekistan, Venezuela, Yugoslavia.
Other nationals should contact the consulate at the Lebanese Embassy for details about how to obtain their visa at least one month prior to arrival.
Cost: For those coming for tourism, a free visa is granted for one month, renewable for up to three months.
Restricted Entry: The Government of Lebanon refuses entry to holders of Israeli passports, holders of passports containing a visa for Israel, valid or expired, used or unused and passports with entry stamps to Israel.
Passports: Passports valid for 6 months are required by all.
To remain on the safe side and irrespective of your nationality, we highly recommend you check with your local Lebanese Consulate or Embassy prior to boarding the plane. Please do so as soon as you decide to come in order to have enough time to prepare and submit all requested documents.
Travel insurance is mandatory for those interested in taking part in our Tour to Istanbul. make sure to purchase a valid insurance that would cover Lebanon.
